Hyunsuk Kim is an animator, filmmaker, performer and writer. He studied philosophy in Korea before ha came to New York to study animation and film. Since the graduation, he has been involved in different disciplines of arts, exploring himself. His need to know about death is a motivation for him to create. He thinks that the only way for him to know about death is to give a birth to an unexpected. He says, "Death is what life is and vice versa". He'll keep trying this until he finds other ways. Currently he is seeking a way to live a thousand years while creating a new animation and a new film.
